St. Louis, MO (KSDK) - April is Sexual Awareness Month. According to the Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network, some 54 percent of sexual assaults are not reported to the police. 

Call For Help is a United Way organization that can help. Their Sexual Assault Victims Care Unit responds 24 hours a day, seven days a week to victims of sexual assault and sexual abuse, providing advocacy and support at the hospital or police station.

Call for Help is holding a self-defense class Saturday, April 28, 2012. It runs from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Winstanley Baptist Church in Fairview Heights. For more information, call 618-397-0975.
