Richmond Heights, MO (KSDK) - One person is hospitalized after a motorcycle crash in Richmond Heights. The accident happened around 11:00 p.m. Sunday on Interstate 64, near Hanley Road.

Police say the driver hit a guardrail and was thrown off the bike and into the median. The motorcycle was found 200 yards away from the victim.

Authorities had to shut down the interstate while they worked to clear debris from the roadway.

The victim is expected to make a full recovery.
