Edmond, Oklahoma -- A student who is a central figure in the new documentary "Bully" has moved on with his life.
Three years ago, filmmakers profiled Alex Libby's terrifying bus rides for the film.
His family has since moved from Sioux City, Iowa to Edmond, Oklahoma.
Alex is now a ninth grader and says he loves his new school. Alex has made friends and has a message for his former bullies.
"As well as me travelin' places, I love people, meeting new people," said Alex. "Just makin' new friends, and that really helps."
Alex said he has also been contacted by some of the bullies after the movie hit theaters.
"Don't try to be friends with me just cause I'm in a movie now. I don't want to be used. If you're trying to use me I don't want anything to do with you. I'm just going to say 'forget you' so unless you really mean it, don't talk to me," said Alex.
Alex's mother said she's glad the movie's producers won their battle to get the movie rated PG-13 instead of R.
