Kerri Strug has a message for young gynmasts

St. Louis (KSDK) -- One of the most memorable moments in US gymnastics history was when Kerri Strug stuck the landing on her vault in the 1996 games after injuring her ankle.

Strug is in St. Louis promoting the Visa Championships that will take place at Chaifetz Arena and will be part of the Road to the London Olympics for the gymnastics team.

The June 7-10 contest features the country's best gymnasts vying for national titles and spots on the U.S. National Team. Some of the participants will advance to the 2012 U.S. Olympic Trials in San Jose, California.

Tickets go on sale Saturday at 10 a.m. Prices range from $25 to $112.
