St. Louis County (KSDK) - A St. Louis County police officer facing sodomy charges from an alleged incident that took place more than 10 years ago is now off the job.
Cedric Webb, 44, was arrested Wednesday and resigned from the department. Webb served as a patrolman in North County.
Webb was charged with three counts of second-degree statutory sodomy. He's accused of having a sexual relationship with a teenage girl.
The victim, who was 14-years-old at the start of the inappropriate relationship, ran into Webb recently and then contacted police.
According to police, the victim said her relationship with Cedric Webb was consensual but she wanted to inform them anyway. The alleged relationship took place between 1999 and 2003.
The alleged victim, now 26, works as an adult entertainer in the Metro East. She told police she met Cedric Webb as a teenager because she was a habitual runaway.
Cedric Webb is being held on $25,000 cash-only bond.
