St. Charles, Mo (KSDK) -- The Lingerie Football League wants to bring a team to St. Louis to play at the St. Charles Family Arena.

The team would play in the Lingerie Football League's Eastern Conference and compete against Omaha, Tampa, Orlando, Baltimore, Philadelphia and Cleveland teams.

Tryouts for the team will be held on June 17 from noon to 3 p.m. at Vetta Sports Club Soccersome at 220 East Avenue in St. Louis.  Prospective players should be prepared to participate in strength, speed and agility drills.  Athletes should wear a sports bra and shorts, sneakers or cleats.  They should also bring a photo to leave behind.  Prospective players should arrive at least 45 minutes prior to registration.

The Lingerie Football League has existed for three seasons.

Thursday night, the St. Charles County Public Information Director John Sonderegger said the county is in talks with the league, but that no contract for the team has been signed.
