Joplin, Mo (KSDK) -- The valedictorian of Joplin High School's 2012 class will have one message for her classmates when she speaks Monday night "take action."
Julia Lewis will speak after President Obama delivers the commencement address to the graduates.
Lewis said it has been a tough year following the deadly EF5 tornado that destroyed their school, but it has been a great year. She said they know more than ever that they can make an impact in the world.
