St. Louis (KSDK) - Missouri is sending a woman from Chesterfield to the Miss Wheelchair USA pageant in Rhode Island in August.
Kristine Jones has been chosen the 2012 Miss Wheelchair of Missouri.
She's not only working to improve accessibility for people living with disabilities, she's also an advocate for victims of domestic violence.

A fundraiser will be held Sunday, June 3 at the St. Louis Sports Hall of Fame Bar & Grill. The event is from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m. and will feature live entertainment, a drawing for a 50" plasma television, and raffles for St. Louis Cardinals tickets and gift baskets.
