Clayton, MO (KSDK)-   A guilty plea in St. Louis County Monday has resulted in a ten year prison term for a man from north St. Louis County accused of robbery.

19 year old Cameron Arthur Thomas of unincorporated north St. Louis County admitted to the crimes which took place last August 30th.

On Monday Thomas entered the plea to a reduced charge of second degree robbery, misdemeanor assault and resisting arrest crimes.

Police arrested Thomas after watching the defendant forcefully removing a woman from her car in the parking lot of the Aldi grocery store at West Florissant and Dunn Roads.  The victim told police Thomas had a gun and ordered her to comply.

Thomas then fled in the car and engaged police in a pursuit which ended on I-70 and Bircher Boulevard after Thomas lost control of the stolen car and crashed into the guardrail.
