CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO (AP) - The shooting deaths of two men in Cape Girardeau has been ruled a murder-suicide.
The Southeast Missourian reports that Cape Girardeau County Coroner John Clifton issued the ruling Tuesday in the deaths of 23-year-old Richard Carrube of Mesa, Ariz., and 31-year-old Joshua Adams of Youngtown, Ariz.
The men were traveling from Arizona to Indiana last week and stopped in Cape Girardeau to spend the night at a home owned by Adams' grandfather. Their bodies were found about 3 a.m. Friday in the driveway of the home.
Police say an argument apparently prompted Adams to shoot Carrube several times. He then apparently shot himself.
