Pagedale, MO (KSDK)-   Two people were injured after being struck by gunfire Tuesday night while walking in the 7000 block of Robbins in Pagedale.

Witnesses tell News Channel 5 two groups of young men were walking toward each other just before 11:00 p.m. when one of them turned toward the other after passing and opened fire.

The attackers then ran from the scene to another home on leroy where police apprehended one person.

The two victims who were shot were reported to have non life threatening injuries and both were transported to the hospital with gunshot wounds.

Police have no motive for the attack and are continuing their investigation to identify other people involved.
