St. Louis, MO (KSDK) -- News Channel 5 received several tips from viewers about a security breach in Terminal 2 of Lambert-St. Louis International Airport on Wednesday.
This is the terminal on the east side of the airport, where Southwest Airlines is located.
A spokesman for TSA says that at approximately 9:55 a.m., Terminal 2's security checkpoint was closed after a passenger left before completing the screening process.
Airport police and TSA soon determined the passenger did not need to be located and was of low risk.
The checkpoint was re-opened 30 minutes later. No one was allowed in or out of the terminal during that time.
