St. Louis County, Mo (KSDK) -- Col. James G. Allison officially took command of the 70th Troop Commmand of the Missouri National Guard.
The change of command ceremony happened at Jefferson Barracks Saturday.
Col. Allison assumed command of the brigade from Col. Wendel G. Hagler who led the unit for 32 months.
Troop Command is made up of four battalions and one weapons of mass destruction response team. The brigade consists of some 2,600 soldiers stationed at more than a dozen armories around the state.
