Ballwin, MO (KSDK)- A woman injured in a fire at her Ballwin home last weekend died Tuesday afternoon while being treated at Mercy Hospital St. Louis.
84 year old Anna Conger was hurt after fire broke out at the home in the 100 block of Coral Terrace in west St. Louis County, trapping the woman inside the home.
Two Ballwin Police officers were instrumental in rescuing the victim from the burning home and suffered non life threatening injuries.
A man also living inside the house when it caught fire was able to get outside on his own.
The investigation into a definite cause for the fire is on-going.
Visitation for Mrs. Conger will be Friday afternoon at Schrader Funeral Home on Manchester Road in Ballwin. Her memorial service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday; June 9th at 11:30 a.m.
