Los Angeles (CNN) - Still no sign of a missing movie executive who mysteriously vanished from Ventura County, California in early May.

Los Angeles County Sheriff deputies did execute a search warrant on a home in the San Fernando Valley Friday.

They're trying to locate Gavin Smith.

Smith is a former UCLA basketball player who works as an executive for 20th Century Fox.

He was last seen leaving a friend's house on May 1.

But detectives have remained stumped as to where Smith could be.

Smith has three sons who say they've searched along canyon roads looking for their dad's black Mercedes.

But nothing has turned up.

There's a $20,000 reward for information leading to Smith's location.
