LAKE OZARK, Mo. (AP) - Missouri Democrats are uniting behind President Barack Obama at their state convention - a not surprising result, but a sharp contrast from four years ago.

Attendees at Saturday's state Democratic convention at the Lake of the Ozarks were choosing the final 19 people for what will be a 102-person delegation to the Democratic National Convention in September. All of Missouri's delegates will be pledged to Obama.

In 2008, Missouri's state convention was almost evenly divided between supporters of Obama and Hillary Clinton. This year's Democratic convention drew a smaller, more relaxed crowd that was unified behind Obama, U.S. Sen. Claire McCaskill and Gov. Jay Nixon.

Some delegates expressed concern that Obama could face a close election against Republican Mitt Romney because of the slow economic recovery.
