St. Louis, MO (KSDK) - Hampton Avenue has been reduced to one lane in each direction from Fyler Avenue to Arthur Avenue near Tilles Park in southwest St. Louis City, according to St. Louis City Mayor Francis Slay's Office.

Repair crews are currently working to fix a leak on a 36-inch steel main under Hampton Avenue, said Kara Bowlin, a spokeswoman for the mayor.

Crews are working quickly, but lanes may still be reduced for Tuesday evening rush.

The water service to nearby businesses and residents has not been affected.
