St. Louis (KSDK) - A shooting victim is hospitalized in critical condition after he was shot twice last night while walking in the 4500 block of Clarence Avenue in north St. Louis.
Police say the victim was able to tell investigators he was approached by a man who robbed him of his money and wallet before shooting the victim and then fleeing the scene.
Authorities say the unidentified 26-year-old man was shot once in the chest and once in the back of his head. he was unable to provide much additional information due to his injuries and the urgency in getting the man medical treatment.
