St. Louis (KSDK) - A 10 foot hot dog took to the streets of St. Louis to spread a message Thursday.

"Mercy for Animals" staged a protest downtown.

The group hoped its 10 foot inflatable puppy dog on a bun would attract attention to their cause.

They're trying to raise awareness about how some meat industry companies treat animals.
