St. Charles County (KSDK) - A fundraiser was held Friday night for U.S. Army Sergeant Michael Shuster, a service member who was wounded three years ago while serving in Iraq.

Homes for Heroes sponsored the fund-raiser, which was held in a tent behind Sherlock's Steaks and Seafood. Shuster and his wife, Kimberly, and their 11-month-old twin boys have just moved into a new home.

Homes for Heroes works to secure real estate discounts for public servants who are in need, including police and firefighters, as well as people who work in education or the medical industry.
