Terminal 1 at Lambert-St. Louis International Airport

St. Louis (KSDK) - Detours begin Tuesday for passengers needing ground transportation shuttles at Terminal 1 at Lambert-St. Louis International Airport.

Construction on the Terminal 1 Bag Claim Drive (Lower) will switch to the two north lanes closes to the terminal curb. Shuttle pickup areas will be moved to the center roadway island.

Pedestrian traffic will not be allowed in the construction areas.

The public will need to enter the Terminal 1 Garage from the Bag Claim level and take elevators or stairs to the Green Level and use a cross walk to get to the ground transportation pickup zones. The detour affects the pickup zones for the Terminal 2 shuttle, Super Park shuttles, and off airport parking vans.

Hotel and motel shuttles will remain on the upper level of Terminal 1 at Exit 6.

Detour signs will be in place, and an information ambassador will be walking throughout the bag claim area to help passengers get to their correct destinations.

The project should be complete by August 1, 2012.
