Columbia, MO (KSDK) - It was like a case of déjà vu in the newsroom Tuesday.

Just 24 hours after we told you about steer running down Interstate 64, a 1,300 pound Angus Steer was running around the campus of the University of Missouri campus.

Police chased the animal through the east campus area.

One person was hurt, and two university police vehicles were damaged.

The animal was tranquilized near Paquin Tower.

The steer was headed to the College of Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources to be slaughtered.

KSDK
