St. Louis, MO (KSDK) - The Missouri Department of Transportation cancelled its plans for brief closures on Interstate 270 as well as rock blasting for the remainder of the week.
The work is being postponed because crews are finishing up survey work in the blasting area.
Crews would have closed I-270 in both directions between Manchester Road and Big Bend.
The closures and rock blasting will resume on Monday, June 25 at 10 a.m., and will occur every weekday throughout the summer, weather permitting.
