The following is a recipe adapted from Taste of Home for a 1.5 quart electric ice cream maker.
Easy Vanilla Ice Cream
1 1/2 cups milk
1 1/2 cups cream
3/4 cup sugar
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
Combine all ingredients and stir well. Pour into ice cream maker and follow ice cream maker instructions.
