St. Louis, MO (KSDK) - The westbound lanes of Interstate 70 were temporarily closed Thursday afternoon following an accident.
The accident occurred around 4 p.m. on the St. Louis Avenue overpass over Interstate 70.
Two lanes opened up to traffic around 4:25 p.m.
A woman ran up along a guardrail and knocked three sections of metal fencing onto the highway.
The highway was shut down while the fencing was cleaned up.
Only minor injuries were reported.
KSDK
