St. Louis, MO (KSDK) - A federal grand jury indicted a 49-year-old St. Louis County woman on charges of selling counterfeit goods, U.S. Attorney Richard Callahan said Friday.
According to court documents, Soukeye Fox owned and operated businesses on West Florissant, Cherokee Street and the Frison Flea Market, and allegedly sold counterfeit goods, some of them originating in China.
Fox is accused of maintaining an inventory of components for making counterfeit purses, including almost 6,000 purse labels.
Prosecutors say Fox sold counterfeit clothing, purses and shoes, including items bearing marks owned by Guru, Prada, Coach and numerous others, between 2008 and June 2012.
Soukeye Fox, also known as Soukeye Samb and Sue Fox, faces up ten years in prison and/or $2 million in fines if convicted.
The indictment was announced on the same day federal authorities raided the Frison Flea Market in Pagedale.
