Andrew Warner dies following motorcycle crash in Lebanon, Illinois

Lebanon, IL (KSDK) -- A 23-year-old man is dead following a motorcycle crash in Lebanon, Illinois, the Madison County Coroner's Office said Sunday.

Around 5:29 p.m. Saturday, Andrew Warner, of Troy, Illinois, was driving his motorcycle northbound on Madison Avenue when he rear-ended a pickup truck that had slowed down to make a left turn.

Warner was being flown by ARCH Helicopter to St. Louis when his condition deteriorated and he was diverted to Anderson Hospital in Maryville, Illinois, where he was pronounced dead at 6:20 p.m.

It is unknown if Warner was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.

The crash remains under investigation by the Lebanon Police Department.
