Lemay, MO (KSDK) - Investigators with the St. Louis County Police Department responded to a Lemay neighborhood Tuesday morning after the body of a woman was discovered near an alley.

St. Louis County police have identified the woman as 26-year-old Charley Smalley. She was discovered around 6:30 a.m. in the 200 block of Wachtel Avenue.

Smalley was pronounced dead at the scene.

An autopsy was performed and no injuries were found on the woman. Toxicology results are pending.

A cause of death has not yet been determined.
