St. Louis (KSDK) - A welcome sight across our area Tuesday as the price of gasoline drops to its lowest level in five months.
We found regular unleaded going for less than $3 a gallon at several gas stations on the Missouri side of the metro.
That's giving drivers some relief ahead of the July 4th holiday.
The cost of gas has been falling steadily since April, as oil prices dropped and supplies of summer-grade fuel grew around the country.
