St. Charles, Missouri (KSDK) - Interstate 70 construction on the Blanchette Bridge over Earth City has been cancelled due to excessive heat, the Missouri Department of Transportation said Thursday.
According to Linda Wilson Horn, a MoDOT spokeswoman, the weekend forecast includes temperatures above 100 degrees, which would put MoDOT workers in danger.
The repairs were scheduled for June 29 to July 1 and have been moved to July 20-22. The other weekend is not yet scheduled.
