St. Louis, MO (KSDK) - A St. Louis native has been identified as 10,000th hire from a national outreach program designed to help servicemen and women find jobs.

According to Bryan Goettel, a spokesman for the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, Cory Ketchum was hired from a previous 'Hiring Our Heroes' job fair in St. Louis on April 19. Ketchum was hired by Securitas Services and will do work in a security position in the St. Louis area.

Ketchum served four years in the Marines, which included a 7-month tour in Iraq.

An upcoming 'Hiring Our Heroes' job fair in St. Louis will be Thursday, July 12th at 11:00 a.m.- 3:00 p.m. at the Chaifetz Arena at St. Louis University.
