ST. LOUIS (KSDK) - With the dangerous heat, it's important to protect pets - that includes homeless animals. To help do that, Stray Rescue is hosting an event called the "Summer of Love" Adoptathon.
The adoptathon starts at noon and runs through 6:00 p.m. Saturday at Stray Rescue at 2320 Pine Street.
Today only, the adoption fee is reduced to $50, which includes spaying or neutering, vaccinations, and microchipping. Microchiping is also being offered for just $5
