Police investigate robbery in Fairview Heights

(KSDK) - Fairview Heights Police are investigating a robbery that happened this morning just after 10 a.m. in the 10500 block of Lincoln Trail.

Witnesses told investigators the suspect entered Illinois Title Loans and began asking the employee questions about the business. 

The suspect then announced the robbery and told the employee to get on the floor. The robber bound the employee's hands and feet before fleeing with and undetermined amount of money.

A short time later two customers entered the business and found the employee struggling to free herself. One of the customers called police.

The suspect is described as 5'8", thin build, thin mustache, in his mid 20s, wearing a red hat and an oversized white t-shirt.

There were no customers in the business at the time of the robbery. The suspect did not display a weapon and no one was injured in the incident.
