Clayton, MO (KSDK)- A guilty plea from a woman to a kidnapping charge has resulted in a 90 day jail term and five years of supervised probation.
Ashley White; 27 of Pine Lawn, was also ordered not to have any contact with the six year old victim or the child's family as part of her punishment. White was instructed to surrender herself to correction officials next month to begin serving her incarceration.
White was arrested last November after taking the child from her baby sitter at a home in Jennings. Police investigators say White took the child to hold her as ransom in a dispute over money with the little girl's mother.
Police located the child about thirty minutes after her abduction, unharmed.
In a related matter; White's father, Michael Wings of Normandy was charged with witness tampering in the abduction case against his daughter after allegedly threatening family members of the young girl who was taken.
Wings is scheduled to appear in court in St. Louis County Circuit Court later today.
