OYSTER BAY, N.Y. (AP) - Police have identified the three children who died after yacht capsized on the Fourth of July off New York's Long Island.

David Aurelino 12, Harley Treanor 11, and Victoria Gaines 8 were recovered from the boat's cabin. They all lived in Suffolk County.

Twenty-four other people were rescued, and were treated and released.

Weather and a wake from another boat are being investigated as possible factors. Nassau County Police Det. Lt. John Azzata (uh-ZAH'-tuh) says alcohol is not believed to be a factor.

The boat had two operators. Passengers had been watching a fireworks display when it capsized around 10 p.m. Wednesday.
