(KSDK) - Two teens were shot outside a south St. Louis skating rink just after midnight.

Police said the teens had been at a birthday party at the Skatium located at S. Broadway and Catalan.

Skating rink owner Rob Grimm says the party was for a 14-year-old girl and had been attended by about 45 teens

Everyone at the party had been asked to move outside after a fight broke out inside the rink. Someone retrieved a gun outside and began shooting. There were approximately 30 people on the parking lot at the time of the shooting

A 13-year-old and a 15-year-old were struck by the gunfire.  Their injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

Police have not said if anyone is in custody for the shooting.

Grimm said he had six to seven security guards working the party.  He said he has been in business for 19 years and this in the first shooting that has happened there.  Grimm said he is considering installing outside security cameras.
