St. Louis County, Mo (KSDK) -- A portion of Manchester Road is closed in west St. Louis County following a water main break and the cutting of a fiber optic line.
Missouri American Water said one westbound lane of Manchester was closed for fiber optic repair near Manchester Meadows Monday morning. Two eastbound lanes and one westbound lane are open.
The line was cut as crews repaired the water main.
Missouri American Water said a 12-inch pipe buckled due to a number of factors, including record temperatures.
Water service was restored in the area around 11 p.m Sunday.
