St. Louis, MO (KSDK) -- Police are asking for help identifying the suspect of a south St. Louis bank robbery.
Investigators say the robber went into the U.S. Bank in the 5300 block of Southwest just after it opened at 9:00 a.m. on July 3.
The robber took an undetermined amount of cash then left the bank on foot, through a parking lot and possibly a getaway car.
A red SUV was seen leaving the area shortly after the robbery.
Police say no weapon was suggested or displayed in the crime and nobody was hurt.
The robber was described as a black male in his mid to late twenties and wearing a scarf across his face. Police were interviewing bank employees to get a better physical description on the bandit.
