Indianapolis, IN (AP) - Federal prosecutors in Indianapolis are filing formal charges against a man accused of coercing two teenage boys into making sexually explicit videos, after tracking down more of his victims.
U.S. attorney's office spokesman Tim Horty says 39-year-old Richard Finkbiner of Brazil, Ind., waived indictment on charges of child sexual exploitation and will be formally charged Tuesday.
Horty says investigators have discovered additional victims since Finkbiner's arrest.
Prosecutors say Finkbiner secretly recorded teenage boys performing sexual acts during anonymous video chats, then threatened to post the videos on gay porn sites unless they made more videos for his private use.
Investigators say they found thousands of explicit video files depicting hundreds of juveniles on Finkbiner's computer.
U.S. Attorney Joe Hogsett is expected to announce the charges against Finkbiner Tuesday.
