St. Louis (KSDK) - Two more deaths are being blamed on the brutal heat wave that blanketed our area for several days.

The latest deaths occurred in St. Louis County and Collinsville, IL.

A 93 year old woman was found in her home in University City on Saturday. She had a window air conditioner, but it was set to 95 degrees.

The second case, a 56 year old Collinsville man, was found yesterday. Investigators believe that he died on Friday. The air conditioner in his apartment was not turned on.

As of Tuesday afternoon, 14 deaths have been blamed on the heat in the St. Louis metropolitan area.
