Alton, Ill (KSDK) -- An Alton couple accused of sexual assault face sexual assault allegations.
Alton police said David Brian Armstrong and Daniell M. Armstrong were each charged with one county of predatory criminal sexual assault.
The Department of Children and Family Services notified the police about an investigation involving a five-year-old child Monday.
Two days later, the Madison County State's Attorney's Office filed formal charges against the couple.
The Armstrongs are jailed on a $150,000 bond.
