St. Louis (KSDK) - The race course for the TASK Rock 'n Roll St. Louis Marathon and ½ Marathon was released Thursday.
The race returns to St. Louis Sunday, October 21 with a new course and a two person relay, begins and ends near City Hall, and will pass notable landmarks throughout St. Louis.
Live local bands will perform along the course, and participants will have the option this year to split the miles between another person in the two person half-marathon relay.
The course this year will take runners by Busch Stadium, Washington Avenue, University City, The Grove, Tower Grove Park, and Lafayette Park. The race ends near City Hall with a finish line festival and post-race concert off Chestnut and Market Street.
The weekend of the race will kick off with a free Health and Fitness Expos at the America's Center Convention Complex on Friday, October 19, and Saturday, October 20.
