St. Louis, MO (KSDK) - A pair of major construction projects is complete in St. Louis County, which means good news for drivers.

Construction on the Page to Olive Connector began in summer 2010 and has now wrapped. The Route 141 Project is also complete.

The Missouri Department of Transportation and St. Louis County authorities will hold a joint ribbon cutting event Saturday morning. They'll open up the roadway for a 10K run. Drivers will have access on Saturday afternoon.

St. Louis County isn't the only place celebrating an easier commute. In Midtown, one lane will be opening in each direction on the Grand Bridge. That will start Friday at 3 p.m. The MetroLink station will open in August.
