St. Louis, MO (KSDK) -- A firefighter is being treated for injuries on the scene of a fire in north St. Louis.
The building fire began in a unit in the 4300 block of Blair, near the Bissell Mansion, and quickly spread to a second unit.
Firefighters say the injured firefighter was hit in the face with a piece of plaster while battling the blaze. Paramedics are treating him on the scene.
One unit has been confirmed vacant. The other was occupied, but neighbors believe the person was already at work when the fire began.
NewsChannel 5 has crews on the scene and will have more information as it becomes available.
