Frank Fuchs accused of taping women in grocery store bathroom

Hillsboro, MO (KSDK) - The Jefferson County Prosecuting Attorney's Office charged a 51-year-old Cedar Hill man for allegedly videotaping women going to the bathroom in a local grocery store.

According to Jefferson County Sheriff Oliver "Glenn" Boyer, the incident occurred on the afternoon of Sunday, July 15 at the Price Chopper on Gravois Road in House Springs.

A store employee discovered a video recording device in the bathroom ceiling. The employee contacted police and was able to identify a suspect, Frank Fuchs, from photos obtained from the recording device. Store employees detained Fuchs until deputies apprehended him.

Frank Fuchs was charged with invasion of privacy of multiple individuals and remains jailed on $50,000 cash-only bond.

After his arrest, Fuchs allegedly admitted to peeping at other locations. According to court documents, Fuchs told a Jefferson County Sheriff's deputy that he recorded women using the restroom at Slinger's restaurant and the Price Chopper grocery store in House Springs. He also allegedly admitted to using self-made holes to peep into the woman's restroom at Cecil Whittaker's Pizzeria and the Save A Lot grocery store in Cedar Hill.

NewsChannel 5 learned the Jefferson County Prosecuting Attorney's office Fuchs in June with videotaping nine adults and three minors using the restroom at Save A Lot.

The sheriff's office is asking anyone who may have used the restroom at any of the locations to contact authorities at 636-797-5515.
