Mayport, FL (CNN) - More than $93 million worth of drugs were dropped off in Florida Tuesday. That amounts to 7,000 pounds of cocaine and 240 pounds of marijuana.
The guided-missile frigate Nicholas was carrying the seized drugs.
The Navy got the drugs in a multinational effort targeting illicit trafficking routes along Central and South America.
The operation also resulted in the arrests of 14 suspected drug smugglers who will be prosecuted in the U.S.
