Grubville, MO (KSDK) - A one car crash early Wednesday has claimed the life of a man whose car ran off Highway Y in Jefferson County early today.
Troopers say 45 year old Richard Bardot whose hometown was not immediately disclosed was in the 9900 block of Highway Y when he failed to negotiate a curve and overcorrected. The accident was first reported around 5:20 a.m.
Bardot's Mazda Miata then flipped off the roadway, ejecting the victim who was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash near the Grubville Post office.
