St. Charles Country, MO (KSDK) - The Missouri Department of Transportation will close several lanes of Interstate 70 this weekend for maintenance.

MoDOT will close four of the five eastbound lanes on I-70 between Mid Rivers Mall Drive and Route 370 starting Saturday, July 21 at 9 p.m. until Sunday, July 22, at 10 a.m. weather permitting. Crews will work to remove and replace overhead signs and redo some stripping. There will also be occasional 10-15 minute full lane closures overnight.

The far left lane of eastbound I-70 will remain open to traffic, but motorists cannot access Route 370.

The southbound Mid River Mall ramp to eastbound I-70 will be closed.

The eastbound I-70 entrance ramp from Veterans Memorial Parkway will be closed. Motorists can continue eastbound on Veterans Memorial Parkway and access I-70 at the Cave Springs interchange.
