St. Charles County, Mo -- A St. Charles County foot mystery prompted police to gather near the Mississippi River.
According to witnesses, two men on motorcycles stopped along the river near Highway B to drink beers Thursday. One of them spotted a shoe with a human foot inside and called the other person over to check it out.
A woman riding on a golf cart stopped to ask the duo what was happening. They told her they thought they found a human foot, so she went to get her dad.
The dad came to the scene, pulled back the sock and said he saw a human foot inside.
The dad called 911 and police came to the scene.
Police have not commented on the case.
