St. Louis, MO (KSDK) - They're known for being picture perfect from head to toe: pageant contestants and winners are known for their talent, fitness and public speaking ability.
But Miss Michigan 2011 Elizabeth Wertenberger is going very public with an illness she's struggled with since childhood. She was diagnosed with juvenile arthritis at the age of 13.
Wertenberger is in town for the National Juvenile Arthritis Conference at the Marriott Union Station. She spoke with Kay Quinn about her own struggles with the illness.
